This site collects as little as it possibly can. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no cookie banner — because there is nothing to consent to.

Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers, with its database on Cloudflare D1 and its images on Cloudflare R2. Both storage locations are set to the European Union.
When you open a page, our hosting provider processes technical data that your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site to you and to keep it secure. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a functioning and secure website.
Cookies
No cookies are set for ordinary visitors. A session cookie exists only for the operators of this site when they log in to edit it — it is technically necessary and is deleted when the session ends.
Fonts
Fonts are served from this website itself. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font provider.
Where this site shows our Instagram photos, the images are copied to our own server in advance and delivered from there. Opening a page does not connect your browser to Instagram or Meta, and no data about you reaches them. This only changes if you click through to Instagram yourself — from that point their privacy policy applies. Our server collects the posts once a day, on its own schedule; that request carries no information about anyone visiting this site.
Signing in to the editorial area
The part of this site where we write is protected by Cloudflare Access. Before the login form appears, Cloudflare asks for the email address of whoever is signing in and sends a one-time code to it. Cloudflare processes that address to decide whether to let the person through; the only addresses that pass are the few we listed ourselves. This concerns us as the operators of this site, not the people reading it — nothing about your visit is involved.

We link to other websites, among them our own Hungarian blog on blog.hu. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that site applies. We have no influence over what they collect.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to obtain information about the data we hold on you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted, to object to processing and to receive your data in a portable format. Write to us at the address above and we will deal with it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Hungary this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9-11, 1055 Budapest.

If we add something to this site that processes more data than it does today, we will update this page before it goes live.
